Tile roofs fall into two categories: Clay and Concrete.
Clay Tile: Clay tile color is easily modified by mixing colors... using a percentage of each.

Concrete Tile: Concrete
comes in a complete range of colors. Concrete tile is available two
ways: Color through the entire tile and colored surface.
With
color through tile: the mortar used to manufacture the tile is of the
same color as the dominate color. Color-thru tile will remain close to
the original color throughout it's life.
Slurry coat tiles
are just that... a coating. The actual tile color will be either gray
or white, but the slurry coat could be entirely different. This slurry
coat will eventually wear off over time.
This
is a color thru concrete roof tile with a "Blend". The manufacturing
process of Blended Tiles yields hybrid colors. These hybrids are tiles
that cannot be replicated as an individual color as they are derived
from the intentional cross-contamination of the blend’s primary colors.
